Only way to correct this is to reboot, given how many picture messages I send a day I have found myself having to reboot my phone every 1-2 days to correct this. It is EXTREMELY frustrating.

Once you start recording their is a camera button right above the red record start/stop icon. Just press that while recording and it will take a picture.

I used this feature while watching fireworks about a month ago. Recorded the entire fireworks show and got some excellent pictures that I could time perfectly as the fireworks went off.

So is the issue seeing the screen in direct sunlight when set to 100% brightness or how to get to 100% brightness? I use the beautiful widget toggle to accomplish this easily. But when at 100% it doesn't solve the problem of not being able to read the screen. For comparison my droid x at 100%...

No SIM issue sporadically occurring and picture messages "file not supported" issue that only fixes via reboot, soooo annoying. I want to love this phone so much and tell people how awesome it is. Unfortunately these issues make that hard to do.

I still get this problem intermittently and have to restart my phone. Quite annoying to have to restart the phone every so often just to send a picture message. Anyone else have this problem more than once?

The only option I have found is: Open the mms message, press the menu button, select save attachment. It now saves under the "download" folder of your gallery.
