New issue with Beta 4...I have "call and text on other devices" turned off, but am getting a constant notification that it's syncing. Tried toggling "call and text on other devices" on and off again, no help. Still says that it's syncing. Anyone figured out how to turn off syncing for a setting...

Signed up for Beta back when it first became available in the Members app, but didn't get it then. Finally got Beta 3 (for some reason) on my unlocked S10, and it's already stable. Guess I missed out on all the fun *smile*. But liking the "dark mode" and the number of apps, including Google apps...

Well, I found out *smile*. Short term testing today shows almost 3% per hour battery charge loss. Compared to about 1% per hour on "Cellular preferred" yesterday. Hmmmph, had to try it. Too bad...don't really understand why it's so much worse, but that's okay. Good to know.

I was looking into some way of turning off the cell radio at home that was automated. There are apparently ways to do that, but my phone needs to be rooted. The problem with me is that I don't think about my phone when I leave the house, so I'm not likely to remember to turn the cell radio back...

Just a quick comment on this old thread...any phone, like the S10, that can use Hangouts can use Wi-Fi calling that way. You don't have to use Hangouts for text messages, just the Hangouts dialer for outgoing Wi-Fi calls, and Hangouts to receive calls. Same as for an iPhone...Not beautiful, but...
