Yes, this issue is present in Note 8 as well (it was present on Note 2, Note 4 as well). After opening Gallery App, there is a 2-3 sec. wait time, after which we are able to scroll down / open pics, not immediately. But after that it's fine.
I have reported above issue to Samsung, let's hope...
Note 7 is hands down the best phone right now that money can buy. But if you want the best iOS experience, go for iPhone 7 / 7 Plus.
However, the main powerful thing which sets Note 7 aside & always will is the S Pen.
Some practical usages of S Pen are & I think people should use it often for...
Since you are not able to go into settings at all & the error message pops-up right away, I would suggest you to charge your phone to at least 70% & then boot into Recovery Menu. Then perform a "Wipe Cache Partition" of the device:
How to enter Recovery Mode on LG G Stylo:

By "normal usage", if you mean by activities like Browsing the Internet, using social networking apps, or using apps other than games, etc., then no device should heat up at an alarming rate. If so, then go for a replacement as soon as possible.
Always On Display (AOD) does not consume noticeable battery & no, it does not cause a "burn-in" issue, as some users keep mentioning. It keeps changing it's position on the display & moreover, takes full advantage of the AMOLED display architecture.
This "Android System" & "Android OS"...
No. This 'burn image' issue is not true at all. The 'Always On' display itself takes full advantage of the AMOLED screen & it also keeps changing the position, when the setting is turned on, if you are worried about a hypothetical 'burn image' problem ;)
This 'Always On' is one the best features in a smartphone & takes full advantage of the AMOLED display architecture (by illuminating only the required LEDs & switching off the rest). There is not at all a 'burn image' problem with this feature, as some people would think of or complain. You can...
From the list you suggested, I would recommend you to go for Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, but the latter has a 5.5 inch display.
Both these phones are the best in terms of all the features that you would expect on a smartphone of 2016. Touchwiz has been improved a lot over the years & it runs fluidly...
Nexus devices are like Google's own children. They will get all the toffees first & then other one's ;)
Moreover, Nexus devices are pure Stock Android without any skin so they will always receive Android OS updates first.
Other OEMs will receive Nougat within few months, after the testing / code...
S Pen is not the only point here, I think. Note 7 has beautiful & gorgeous display (much better than OP3), better & faster camera, better battery, water & dust resistant, and of course, a memory card slot. So that extra price for Note 7 is for all the above points. The S Pen for Note series, in...
I am rocking a Note 4 naked since more than a year now. Not a single scratch / crack (I had accidentally dropped the phone few times on the front & back as well). I personally think that Gorilla Glass 4 has that perfect material composition / an efficient manufacturing process than Gorilla Glass...
