Sounds like a scaling or resolution issue that Microsoft launcher doesn't handle properly.

Just make sure the phone is AT&T/T-Mobile compatible. They are GSM, a global standard. Verizon/Sprint use a different, more local standard CDMA.

Dropped a Vodaphone SIM into my unlocked AT&T S7 and it worked just fine. Also worked fine on Orange on the Continent. (Phone, text, and data). Should be the same with my S9. By the way, with the length of time (greater than 10 days) I was going to be there, getting a local SIM was way cheaper...

Funny, never had either problem on my S7 nor on the new S9+. I use S. Pay several times a day.

You might be right. I decided to turn off each notification one at a time and the first one I turned off (511 San Diego) and things slowed down, then "Do-Not_Disturb" turned on. I'll check further tomorrow. THANKS!!

This is getting irritating. About every 20-30 seconds, my S9+ sounds a "Brrrink" tone. In the mornings after "Do-Not_Disturb" turns off it repeats maybe 8-10 times. This is not a tone I have set for any of my notifications. Anyone else have this, or any ideas? THANKS!
