S9 Active?

It's now June. Typically the month the S Active series of phones is released. Yet we haven't even gotten any good leaks or know anything at all really concerning the phone. Has anybody heard anything?

I haven't read anything about the release of the s9active. I'm pretty sure again, it will be an exclusive which by the way really sucks. I wish they would stop doing this. The flat display & 4000mamp are very nice features. If Verizon carried this model I would purchase in a blink!

The S9 ( and S8 for that matter ) are actually pretty fragile because of the stupid ( in my opinion ) curved screen. The Active series is made for, well, the more active/outdoor types. A lot more rugged and more durable . And lest not forget the bigger battery. S8 Active had a 4000 mah. I doubt it but I'l hoping for an even bigger battery this time around.

Perhaps that is why it is taking longer to announce/release this years variant. Available on more carriers all at once instead of time exclusive like last years? Who knows. I just want some darn info. NOW!! lol

That's what I'm saying. If there is going to be an S9 Active, we would at least know something by now if not have an official release date. Granted it's only the first of June, but that's when the Active series releases. And we know nothing.

I'm guessing there won't be. S9/+ sales have been disappointing.

I've been waiting for the Active to come to VZW for several years now. Finally gave up and bought an S9+. Still would prefer an Active.
