I doubt that, had it been the transfer then it would have shown itself a long time ago. As I said although I can't be certain that it was the update, I am certain that this wasn't happing a month or so ago.

No just a straight copy via USB, I keep a synced copy of all the pictures on my NAS

I did it via my PC but as I you can see that was over a year ago so this can't be related as the problem would have popped up long ago?
