I am pretty sure Adb and Fastboot works. Quickly head to Google and download Android SDK. When it is installed head to the folder that was installed and you will see "Platform-tools" Inside is the adb and fastboot needed to save your phone. Leave that open and download the Nexus 5 factory image...

Hello, I am a complete noob to rooting, I just want to root so that I would be able to use titanium backup, if I root with cf-autoroot il still be able to get updates from Google right? My phone is Nexus 5
