text messages coming through now... I just keep disconnecting and then pairing the phone and eventually the message toggle appeared under the mazda bluetooth setting

I have an At&t s9 plus and a 2016 mazda 3.. my phone seems to pair ok through bluetooth.. I can make and receive calls.. I can play and control music/media from my phone.. but text messages are not coming through.. not even getting notified.... when I go through the settings notifications and...

I rec google assist I'm on at&t and I rec it today It came with the google app update in google play store. After update installed... I held down the home button on phone and the phone prompted me to set up google assistant.

I just had best buy put on a Zagg invisible shield hd clear. Looks fine. Im sure it will clear up more once it fully dries.. my concern is with the s-pen. Seems like I have to push harder when using the s-pen. Or it doesnt seem as sensitive..Anyone else experience this with plastic protector. My...
