Now that the world wide Note 7 recall is underway.. maybe the new Note 7s (the replacements) will have Nougat already installed.

That would be nice but I'm sure Nougat is the last thing on Samsung's mind right now as they got so many phones to replace

What does nougat have that we're missing anyway? Seems stock is just copying all the features that oem implements these days.

It won't happen. They'll update to nougat once it's ready with their software.

Actually they have already done stuff with it. T-Mobile has it in testing for the Note 7.

But, the phones won't come with it.

It would be nice, but it's better to have Marshmallow for now. Let there be more software testing, R&D for Nougat on Samsung phones. This is because Touchwiz & mobile carriers decide a lot about how a new OS will work (perform) on any Samsung device. Marshmallow is already great......and sweet
