The notification bar (if that's what it's called) at the top of my screen has become black when on the home screen. Any ideas why? I've got Nova Launcher but have been using that for many months and I've never noticed this before. It's really annoying...although I know in the scheme of things...

Thanks all. Luckily I have insurance that will cover this. In fact, the handset was provided by them after I cracked the previous phone's screen. Maybe it's a refurb? Who knows!

I put my phone down this evening to make a cup of tea and all was well. I picked it up 5 minutes later and there were two clusters of very bright pixels towards the bottom of the screen. Any idea what's going on? I've not dropped and nothing has fallen into it. It's quite tricky to photograph...

The Samsung definitely wins there, the higher resolution is very obvious. It's such a shame the rest of it sucked for me because I suspect it's just a software tweak that's needed.

Well I returned mine, and today picked up a Garmin Fenix 5s. It works! The display isn't as nice as the Samsung but everything works and the level of info it provides is almost overwhelming. It's expensive too, but it works!

Well I'm giving up. I bought my 42mm watch on Saturday and while I love it as a watch, as a fitness tracker it's horrible. I wore both it and my Fitbit charge 2 on day 1 just to compare, and the Fitbit recorded my normal 12000 steps but the galaxy watch only recorded 8500. I wondered if my...

Thanks for the response. I've tried that in the past but I keep getting prompted to replace the app with the factory version, which I have assumed achieves nothing? So far I've switched off notifications within the app and then on the home page thingy of Upday itself, swiping the toggle to off.
