I had the same scenario just last night... Received 7.1.1 OTA and Dec security update then the Jan patch after the phone rebooted.

Yea... I pretty much gave in and just purchased the official Sony smartwatch 3 band in black. The sad part is that the black ones are hard to find and you're pretty much left purchasing one online... I got mine off of eBay. Works great now and doesn't look too bad IMO.

Couple of questions... Do you have auto update apps turned on in the play store? Since you mentioned you work night shift, are you leaving your phone in a locker or some metal box that may be interfering with the signal / phones connection? Just a couple of thoughts....

Not really sure yet... Hopefully this is touched upon on Tuesday. However, it's not like we haven't seen a phone with selfie mirror before or anything 😁 .

The last few Apple events I watched live had to be watched on an iOS device or thru the Microsoft edge browser (ironically).

It's 9 AM USA Pacific time... Which would equate to 7pm the same day in Moscow, Russia. Not sure who is going to have it on YouTube or streaming tho. I'd search for it on the day of the event or try a tech news site like Android Central 's main web page or CNET.

I do reboot my phone and watch every now and then, but usually only once a week or so. Definitely not every day... May be worth factory resetting the watch, just to see if that will help.

Sadly, I don't know of any specific release date. Hopefully they will touch on this on October 4th during their announcement.

Arg... Reboot loop issues! Just for information purposes, I had the reboot loop issues on my 5x on android 6.0.1... So, it's not just Nougat phones that are affected. As you mentioned tho, thankfully Google replaced mine without any hassle (as I originally purchased it from the Google online...
