Samsug Galaxy S4 yellow flickering screen problem.

Sorry for the late response. I have a new phone now (Galaxy S5), so the problem doesn't occur anymore, but if I recall correctly, when I still had the S4, the flickering problem just went away on its own without me having to do anything.

TouchWiz showing up in recent applications?

Hello. Recently, I have been experiencing a bug where TouchWiz repeatedly shows up in my recent applications only when I open the app drawer when I'm on a TouchWiz homepage. When I open the app drawer when I'm inside of an app, then TouchWiz doesn't show up. I have attached a screenshotted...

[GUIDE] Using chkdsk to fix a corrupted SD card

Thank you so much! This worked on my Samsung Galaxy S4. It was saying "SD card is damaged. Try reformatting it." All my photos and music were gone. Now, after running this chkdsk, it "uncorrupted" the SD card! Again, thank you! [Also, I can confirm that this works on Windows 8 as well!]

Samsung Galaxy S4 - "Sorry, this video cannot be played."

The thing is, it's a .mp4, and the videos WERE playing on my phone at once point. Suddenly, I'm just getting this message saying, "Sorry, this video cannot be played!" for those exact same videos, which I recorded using my camera in my phone, so it should be playable. The directory is SDCard >...

Samsung Galaxy S4 - "Sorry, this video cannot be played."

I have a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy 4 SGHM919 running KitKat 4.4.4. I have recorded a lot video files to my SD card with group members for a school project, but 2-3 of them are corrupted and won't play. I not only need to be able to see them, but I need to be able to edit them on my Windows 7...

[T-Mobile] How do you do a Nandroid back-up?

How do you do a Nandroid backup on a rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 M919 (KitKat 4.4.4)? I have watched a few videos that use ClockworkMod recovery and TWRP recovery, but when I do it myself, it does not show the same recovery screen as in the video. Maybe I'm using the wrong apps? How can I do a...

Samsug Galaxy S4 yellow flickering screen problem.

My Samsung Galaxy S4 M919 has recently been flickering a dark yellow tint on the bottom half of the screen. If I take a screenshot, the picture does not include the yellow flickering, so I took a picture on a different device: It started doing this rarely a couple months ago. Now, it does it...

[T-Mobile] How can I block OTAs?

Yes. I am receiving an update notification and occasionally a pop-up to update as well. I just always postpone it, but it's still always in my notifications even after restarting my phone. Posted via the Android Central App

[T-Mobile] How can I block OTAs?

I know that after you root your phone and download Root Explorer, you can block/freeze OTAs by renaming: FWUpgrade.apk to FWUpgrade.bak FWUpgrade.odex to FWUpgrade.odex.bak SDM.apk to SDM.bak SDM.odex to SDM.odex.bak I renamed the FWUpgrades, but the problem is that I don't see SDM.apk or...

    How do I block OTAs?

Well SDM.apk and SDM.odex are nowhere to be found on my phone, which I had shown in this screenshot (system/apps): Do they have a different name for T-Mobile? If so, do you know what they are called? Thanks. Posted via the Android Central App
