Your bars drop when you are connected to data because it can only show one signal strength at a time. Your voice signal is still 4 bars, but your data is only 2 and the phobe will only show you the more advanced signal strength.

Go into your messages settings, scroll to where it says MMS settings and make sure "auto-retrieve" is checked. You can also mess around with the priority settings, although I've never had to.

I don't have that problem. Do you have any battery saver apps on your phone? Some of those apps are set to shut off data when the screen is off to save battery. Try adjusting the settings for those apps.

I'm assuming that whenever you unlock your phone, you immediately switch screens or start an app. Touching the screen stops the animation. Unlock your phone, and then just wait a second before doing anything.

I prefer dolphin mini. No add on support, but all of the addons that I used are already built in anyway, so it works great for me. Plus, I just like the overall set up of it over the HD version.

This might be silly, but make sure you have USB debugging still checked. SuperUser wouldnt work without that option checked on an old phone I had, I assume its still the same way.
