When will LG release newest security patch?

That does not bode well, since I am using my phone on Total Wireless, not Verizon.

When will LG release newest security patch?

I read the latest news on the new security flaws found in the latest version of Android, and the article talked about fixing it with the latest November patch. How long does LG take to release updates and patches?

    Screen protector suggestions

I can second the Invisshield tempered glass. It is the only tempered glass protector I've experienced on a curved screen that retains sensitivity on all areas of the screen. Once it was on, you couldn't even tell it was there. I messed up in the curing process and a corner got peeled up by my...

V30 screen not turning on quickly

I haven't tried Safe Mode because it happens so randomly (maybe 3 times in the past couple of days). Plus, why would an app cause this problem after almost 2 weeks, but not before?

V30 screen not turning on quickly

Two days ago my new V30 (2 weeks old) began exhibiting some frustrating behavior when I try to turn the screen on. When it has been in unused for a while (10 minutes or so), I get a major delay when I try to turn the screen on. Whether I use the power button or the Knock On feature, it doesn't...

Is the LG V30 (VS996) compatible with total wireless?

The Verizon version of the V30 works just fine on Total Wireless. That's what I'm currently using.

Convince me to keep my S7

I have no experience with Asus phones, which is why I ask. For all I know their bloatware is worse than Samsung's or their architecture makes it run slower. How is the camera compared to Samsung?

Convince me to keep my S7

I'm considering selling my S7 to my son and getting an Asus Zenfone AR due to the storage being 4 times the size and 6gb of RAM, plus a flat screen (I've come to dislike this curved screen). What am I going to lose by making the switch since the processor is basically the same Zenfone's 821 vs...

    Zenfone AR or Samsung S7?

I'm contemplating selling my S7 to my son and getting a Zenfone AR for myself to take advantage of the 128gb storage and 6gb RAM. The price for each is basically the same, so it really comes down to features, performance, reliability, battery life, etc. (Oh, and availability of durable cases and...

    car phone charger for s7

I also use the Aukey charger with the QuickCharge 3.0 port. It works very well. It's hard to go wrong with Aukey and Anker products.

Anyone else get bored and randomly try built in Samsung apps?

Even the apps designed with a specific Samsung version suck. Photobucket for Samsung sucks far worse then the regular Photobucket app. Same with CNN.

Samsung Galaxy J5 running out of internal storage

    A. Get rid of the Facebook app. It is a storage and memory hog. Use something like Metal, Swipe, or Friendly to peruse Facebook. B. Other folks have already mentioned the other options.

Cannot connect to WiFi network because the Google account on this phone was not properly removed?

Are you the original owner, or did you buy it used? This is an anti-theft feature of Android.

Do any Galaxy S7 screen protectors actually fit?

I use the tempered glass protector from amFilm. It leaves the slightest gap between the protector and the edge of the device so that a case won't push it off like other curved ones that are not actually tempered glass. The gap between the case and the protector is so small that I can't get my...

    Nougat or not?

Well, the upgrade to 7.0 went well, and I definitely like the extra power saving options. Of course, I've had the phone for only a week, so there wasn't much that had been customized before the upgrade. I hunt in the middle of nowhere, so as long as the upgrade gives me ways to extend battery...
