Is the Note 8 running Oreo?

My Pixel 2 runs as smooth as butter with 4 GB of RAM but that might not be the case with the S9 after the break-in period. I owned the S8 as well and experienced the occasional lag as most other people have as well. Thanks. -Rich

Yes, that's why I stopped using the Pixel 2 for taking calls. When I purchased the Gear S3 I was using a Samsung S8 and phone calls (make or take) worked great. I did check for Updates using the Gear app on my phone but I am running the latest software. Thanks. -Rich

When I make calls on my Pixel 2 I am not hearing the dial tone right away and the person on the other end doesn't hear me. I selected the Speaker icon to make sure that Phone and not Bluetooth is selected. I am now running Oreo 8.1 but I noticed this with 8.0. Thanks for your comments. -Rich
