my DROID phones and my S4 allowed you to turn it off.....

probably... on my S4 (waiting to upgrade to Note 3 today) whenever I get a full charge the stats are the same..... so then I unplug it and then reset the phone, and the stats are reset :)

OR you can just do what I do... since I know I will be working, I simply hand write a note that says I authorize them to leave the package at my door.. that way I get it!! Thought that's also because I have a nice neighborhood and the billions of packages I get have never been stolen *knock on wood*
