This is my 3rd Exchange At Tmobile and Still This Phone Has Flaws!!!!!

I agree with the op, when paying that much for a phone you have a right to expect perfection. If everybody brought back the phone because of the imperfections Samsung might tighten up their quality control.

I guess I'm either lucky or I have't looked hard enough. I haven't noticed any flaws. ...and I want to keep it that way. I can't wait until my Spigen case gets here as I don't care for the open area around the top and bottom that the Insipio case leaves...but it's all I could find when I got my phone.

yea i was just saying man im paying $708 your damn right im gonna be picky but i do have insurance and jump so in 6 months i can jump to the s5 which should be out by then for now im not gonna trip over it and yes the phone is amazing i dont even wanna give it back haha

Hi, I am going the same route, chunking out the full $708+Tax.. Tell me this, have you asked to get it unlocked? If so, did they do it?

On the slight flaws. We all have our level of satisfaction. With your level of satisfaction, you should take your time and examine FULLY at the store, several units. Bring magnifying glass with you. That way, you will catch any minor flaws. Glad to hear it is a great phone. I returned a S4 about 2 months ago, because I wanted a 32gb version, and wanted to stay with Tmobile. This Note 3 fits the bill..

Luck to you...

You're not picky and you're not crazy. Look on the box, does it say Made In China? Most phones made by Samsung for T-Mobile are... Its been my experience that Samsung's China Factory does have a reputation for mfg'ing inferior products... Thats not to say they can't turn out a good device, but i think their "quality control" isn't up to par with Samsung's Korean or other mfg plants. I've had the SAME Samsung device many times over bought at diff times and different versions (carrier vs Int'l) and have noticed differences and 99 times out of 100 looked on the box and that was the reason....

Uhm i meant as in the iphone 5s itself not the ****ty ios7 software i haven't heard anybody complaining about there iphone 5s like paint chips, scratches,or loose keys!

Wow. You're extremely picky. Tiny little paint chip? Oh whoop-dee-doo.

Yeah I mean people buy cars for thousands of dollars and dont' expect perfection. If it's an obvious flaw then yeah, but not if you need a magnifying glass.

So the first note 3 i got from tmobile which was on the first day it came out october 1st i got home and noticed there were flaws around the camera area so went back got another came home saw a paint chip around the camera area went back got another and finally it was perfect till 2 days later i looked at my home button key and noticed it looked slightly crooked then with my finger i made it straight and i noticed it slightly moves then i decided to go back to the tmobile store and check out there working display and the workers note 3s and sure enough there home key button is doing the same thing so im like im not gonna do another exchange if they all are that way. Besides that i was putting on my screen protector and had a lamp light over my phone and noticed a really tiny chip in the chrome at the edge! I was thinking to just swap and get a white one instead cause i heard the white ones home button key was super solid and didn't move but i called tmobile store up and they said it would be a $50 restocking fee since im changing from black to white which is a bunch of bull otherwise love the phone and i hope the home key button doesn't end up coming off!

If you think your note 3 is flawless think again! Put your phone under a bright light and look around at the chrome and everywhere im sure u will spot something or check if your home key button moves a lil.

I'm guessing you wear A LOT of cosmetics. Amirite or amirite?

Have you not heard the reports about the entire iPhone bending like a banana? Now that's what I call a FLAW, not a micro-size paint chip.

My home button wiggles a little bit, but it's a button (which are supposed to move) so it doesn't even worry me. Now if I had some dead pixels or damage on the body of the device/camera I'd be concerned and probably exchange it.

Always flawless?... Yeah... Apple phones have never had an issue once out of the box.....

Read news articles before assuming.. Apple had a huge issue with this in the past where they had white phones showing up with chips for many people (even review sites).

I call BS on that one. There are plenty of issues with iphones having paint chips and other issues. Perhaps the 5S finally is a bit better BUT, the home button is the # 1 point of failure next to the power button the iphone. They both fail within a year and start to wiggle around. This is a fact and reported on MANY iphone sites.

I call BS on that article. Since when did the iPhone have flexible glass, as there is no mention of the screen breaking?

I think the OP is fine with being picky. Not everyone has the same level of OCD-ness. I'm INSANELY picky about my phones. I buy them all off contract and if there's a blemish that I notice, I'll return it and get another one. If I know there's something there on my $700 phone, I won't be happy. And then I won't enjoy the phone. That's a lot of money to me that I specifically set aside for something like this, so I expect quality control and perfection. So I don't blame them. If they aren't happy, then let them return it for whatever picky reason they have. Now I wouldn't have made a thread on it (I was expecting major OS/usability issues just reading the headline), but I'm ok with them returning a phone until they're happy with it.

but this is the 3rd note 3 i got from the first day it came out im sure all of them at tmobile store gonna still have the home key moving around if i went and exchanged again for the 3rd time i mean even 3 workers with the note 3 had the same issue when i looked at them and they were like sht how did u notice that lol and there working display model was doing the same thing so im just gonna keep what i got i dont wanna go threw adjusting all my settings again etc etc.

Allow me to explain something to you:
1.This isn't Apple (thank god). You're not going to have perfection so stop asking for it
2.You got a phone RELEASE DAY, be thankful for that. It isn't an easy feat to get these phones to every store nationwide
3. Manufacturing phones isn't easy in general. They have to make tens of thousands of these things a day. Do you think they're going to hold back a phone because it has a barely noticeable paint chip? Ridiculous
