Yeah, using just fingerprint works, and it would be fine by me to use fingerprint if it was more reliable. I just wish the S10 had a rear mounted fingerprint reader

No, not on beta. I tried switching back to the default launcher and downloaded a screen lock app from the play store that should do the same thing as the Nova gesture and it also has the same issue, so it might not actually be a Nova issue

Just tried that and it works, but then you have to unlock your phone with your pattern instead of biometrics. I'm wondering if it is some bug, because the accessibility option in nova says the lock gesture should act like the power button, but locking my phone with the power button works...

I had smart lock set for my wireless headphones but I just disabled smart lock and it didn't change anything

Yeah, I had it set to tap to wake, but I tried the other options and it didn't make a difference. Also just tried re-entering my face data and that didn't help. I tried on my wife's S10 and it was also doing the same thing on her phone. We both have the unlocked model

OK I tried force closing nova launcher and also tried uninstalling it and reinstalling and it still is doing the same thing. The first time I tried the double tap gesture after reinstalling nova it worked correctly, but after that it didn't

Yeah, Nova launcher has accessibility granted. I changed the lock screen timeout to immediately and it still seems to be doing the same thing. The screen gets locked after the double tap but just doesn't shut off immediately like it did when I just had fingerprint set up and not the face unlock

When I double tap on the home screen to lock the screen, the screen blanks out for a split second and comes back on to the lock screen, but the face unlock doesn't attempt until you swipe up on the lock screen. It's different than turning on the screen with the power button where the face unlock...

Hello, I have Nova launcher installed and use the double tap shortcut to lock the phone and turn the screen off. I started using the face unlock feature on the S10 and now when I double tap to lock the lock screen comes back on for about 5 seconds. Is there a way to fix this?
