While I agree with some of what was said I am not sure I would say this is leading technology or that apples technology in the same space is copied, I have an XS and a 10+ and while they are both awesome phones, Apples FaceID is pretty damn seamless, works fast and gets out of the way.

She is using an XS Max. The only trying part of me going off on my own with Android is the loss of iMessage and airdrop since my wife and both kids use iPhones .

Well that's not the case now as I assume I like others are turning toward devices like the S10+ since it feels like Samsung has really done an incredible job and might have made it enticing enough to sway people over. Honestly at this point the experience is on par in more ways than not.
