I've not encountered that type of issue. Could it be an issue with your connection from your phone to the head unit (Bluetooth, adapter, cable, etc)?

You may also want to check if your phone goes into Do Not Disturb mode when connected and Do Not Disturb is not allowing "Media". I think Android Auto sets DnD mode when it starts.

The phone, perhaps, wouldn't be configured to use WiFi Calling? I've encountered this when using WiFi calling.

So this has been a very comfortable move - the Pixel 3 is nearly identical in size to my 5X just a bit heavier. But the performance is a great step up. Now to make this phone last 3 years...

That's how I like to stage things - big set of enhancements since I can't afford the be on an incremental upgrade train.

I'll be leaving my Nexus 5X behind for the Pixel 3.

Re: google fit and moto 360 problems For counting steps without carrying your phone, you will need to enable sensor access for "Moto Body" on the 360. You do not need to actually use Moto Body, but without it having sensor access, steps will not be counted for Google Fit. This is the solution...

That's a bummer. Step counting on the 360 has always seemed hit or miss - it works until it stops, and then you try all sorts of odd actions and if lucky it starts counting again. (But you're never quite sure what rectified the issue.)

Re: Can i connect U8 Smart watch with android wear ? No, the U8 Smart does not appear to be based on Android OS, so in turn is not Android Wear compatible. You will need to use the Android app provided by the manufacturer.

Should have added I tried that as well - does not correct the issue.

Has anyone who has received the March OTA experienced the right side of the screen becoming unresponsive? I have found that if I don't interact with the screen for ~6 seconds I lose the ability to interact with the right side of the screen, If I scroll on the left, then everything is fine...

And disabling Moto Body did not seem to impact step count at this time.
