ok i updated to the new verison but now all it says is there is a problem with the app. i have uninstalled, reinstalled, and have the netarchy 4.3.4 kernel. It wont let me start the app at all.

i dont have a unrooted phone but i did have the cannot stop srvice thing earlier. im more then willing to help out tho. if ya only need unrooted phones tho thats cool. BTW i sent ya a message im just gunna reflash my rom and see where it goes from there.

Ok bought the app and it worked great 1 time. Took cable out and then plugged in and pushed start service. It just flashes a black screen with static very fast. Now my hdmi even without this app won't work. It does the same as above.

wipe dalvik and cache then do a full wipe and then restore your backup. should prolly help out alot.

hey...just letting you know. Maybe its just my error but its not working in the Jiminiy Rom for Evo. When i plug it in and start the service up it just is like static and flickering in and out real fast. Maybe i have done something wrong who knows.

Im running Jiminy ROM(cricket rom) and its not working for me.Worked the first time i plugged it in then unplugged it & I get nothing but Static flickering REALY FAST. This is also the same on the original HDMI also. without this app all it does is flicker real fast. Maybe the Jiminy Rom is not...

correct just an update for the donate button. You still need root for this one.

rooting takes like 10-20 minutes to install drivers, and root the Evo. Its worth it.

"I just realized that non-root is broken as of this version." im thinking by this comment that non-root users will have to root or wait till a new version comes out. Best way tho to figure out is Backup and then try it out.

yea i saw that right after i posted. im usually on XDA but these forums i have been on a for a lil while and they seem to be pretty good(not as harsh). this may be my new hangout. Thanks for all your hard work..once i get my HDMI cable today or tomorrow i will test it out then i send feedback...
