This is going to be my next priority. I got reports that it was working on an unrooted phone, I will have to unroot mine and check it out.

Have you restarted your phone since installing? You should try that, I had to to get it working right. If you are still having a problem you might want to provide some more info sample questions below:
Is the normal hdmi notification icon in the notification bar?
Are you rooted, if so temp (z4root) or perm(soff)?
Phone hardware version
Tv model
Can you get u tube to work (not via full hdmi)
Steps you have taken
I would at bare minium try turning phone off, then power it back up, wait for it to fully start then plug in hdmi cable, you should get the normal hdmi icon, once u have that icon open full hdmi and select different resolutions until one shows up on tv.
Nice. I kinda figured that this would be great for gaming when I did the beta video of GT2 running at 50fps.
I'm in between benchmark runs and would like some feedback on the settings we're using in 480P. Specifically the custom screen setting to remove clipping.
I'm finding that 676x460 is working best for. The reason I ask is that if everybody's settings are really close then that feature may not even need to be in the ap but have 480p auto scaled instead.

I was wondering if you still need the custom kernel for optimal performance? I dont have a problem flashing the kernel but I see the link is no longer on the first page.

I've deleted and reinstalled the app, did a battery pull... No go.
The app logo appears at top of my phone's display, the app menu works...but I can't get the service running.
You should probably quickly change the app description in the market to "rooted only" so people don't bring your market rating down when it doesn't work on their unrooted phones.
Hope you get it fixed for us non-rooters soon (although your app is the best reason to root I've ever seen)

That's correct. My setup in the videos is as follows:
VaelPak 3.2 (Fastest sense based rom you're going to find anywhere. I have also removed all bloat and most HTC apps and replaced with lighter apps)
Netarchy 4.2.2 FullHDMI kernel (source and kernel should be released soon)
That's BS - first of all, its not a Sense rom - there is no Sense in there, and the first post of the thread says the same. Second, its slower than AvaFroyo Z3. Not only Ava's rom is faster - it has more features, full Sense and battery life is amazing. He's been a chef for a long time, and everyone of his users agrees Z3 is the best rom he ever put together. He even sort of stopped developing, because he's not sure he can top that. All his apk's are based of aamikam's hard work, who took all other languages besides English out of all the apks, manually modifying about 5,000 xml files and making the apks size 10x smaller and rom 3x faster because of that.

-Try to make HDMI primary when enabled (memory allocation to HDMI key). Possibly allow for option to make HDMI external and kill evo screen(or have it show only controls like gallery). Making HDMI external and adjusting memory alocation should reduce or even eleminate dropped frames and tearing.
-720X480 mode should trigger an auto scale @ 674x460. This removes the need for a scaling option.
-Having FullHDMI vsync with the phone's display. This will reduced dropped frames however the drawback is slower frame rates. Maybe offset by adjusting memory allocation.
-Remove the Supercharge mode. Granted this mode reduces lag but at the cost of frame rates and dropped frames.

Yes you will have audio through the hdmi with sence, with asop through phone only as of now, says it right in the market app n through out this thread
Ok bought the app and it worked great 1 time. Took cable out and then plugged in and pushed start service. It just flashes a black screen with static very fast. Now my hdmi even without this app won't work. It does the same as above.
Hey guys, I need somebody with unrooted phone to test out the fix for those devices before I update the market. I also fixed a bug where it says it cannot stop service even when the service is stopped. Any volunteers?
