You should be able to still use it via the wifi connection. But as far as the hotspot are you planning to use it off of your phone if so you should be fine.

Re: Is there a way to calibrate the touch screen? Go to settings, display and it should show up with G Sensor Calibration. Follow the instructions on screen and it should fix your issues.

What service provider are you using?

The reason it was showing up was probably to set the voice mail part up.

Make sure your APN settings are correct for the service your using.

You should be able to go to the online verison and take the account off. If not you could possibly have to take the account off the phone.

Make sure that the VPN settings are correct according to the specifications and your service providers site.

It is more than likely the digitizer if you stretched the flex cables to much then you might need both the LCD and Digitizer

Make sure your mobile network is active under settings. If it is toggle the airplaine mode to on which disconnects the service wait about 30 seconds then turn the airplane mode to off and it should come up with the data.
