I use a VPN for Netflix, occasionally to watch new South Park episodes or something on Hulu. But I rarely use it, Netflix in Canada is just horrible that it's not even worth subbing to so having the US version is much better. I use Kepard (for laptop and sometimes tablet).

The iPad mini 2 with retina is a pretty sweet device, I've been having my eyes on it. Most of the smaller Android tablets are of low quality, the Nexus 7 is probably the best bet for smaller than 10".

I'm not a fan of Samsung devices, HTC, certain LG's and Moto (Moto X & G) are good, but iPhones aren't bad, they definitely do have good build quality which is a 1up over Samsung's crummy hard (and slippery) plastic builds. But Apple has their share of problems too with the iPhones

Yeah I like the Asus tablets, but the Nexus ones are good too. My wife has a Samsung 10.1, it's not really a good tablet.

Yup, +1 for Moto X, even with the Lenovo deal, the Moto X shouldn't be affected by this- perhaps the Moto X 2 will though.

I was messing around with the camera apps and checking the differences, just playing around in my guest room and here's the pics, noticeable differences- the biggest one is lack of HDR and you can see jagged lines along my coat and lamp shade. Moto X camera (4.4.2): Camera Awesome:

Re: Ouch, sorry Moto. Yeah those who already has the Moto X is highly likely not affected. I'd say still pick up a X if you haven't yet, best phone on the market bar none. Only other brand I'd switch to is HTC, not gonna go with Samsung or any others.
