How do I edit the multi-window pane with 3rd party apps?

Re: Editing the multi-window pane: 3rd party apps You should be able to add it. Awesome thread by nlitenme, and others: http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2/260399-multi-window-compatible-apps-list-user-guide.html MW Apps Manager is a must, but root is required to really...

How long did your Note 3 last?

How do you have 9GB left??? I'm at 344MB, Safestrap, rooted (obviously), stock. 29.55GB Misc files, of which 29.08GB is System memory. WTH? What ROM are you using?

Scratch on screen - super frustrated

You can probably bring this out, depending on the depth of the scratch. jpr's xda link is probably what will work best for you. The Mashable link really is only trying a bunch of home-remedy polishers. You can try them, but don't hold your breath. You can also try a jeweler who works with...

    Screen always on: potential damage?

I wouldn't recommend leaving on the home screen alone. IIRC the Note should (briefly) turn on when messages arrive. Alternatively, you could leave on with a scrolling picture app. Obviously in an office, you'll have access to a charger.

reccomend a ROM for Vz Note 3 / help getting there

Thanks RukBat. Have Safestrap, but only at 3.65. Not sure upgrading to 72 gets me anything of significance or not. Will look at stock based ROMs. All I really want is the space back that Vz and Sammy have taken from me.

reccomend a ROM for Vz Note 3 / help getting there

I'm rooted, stock, but am done with TW. I have less than 400MB of space left, due mainly to Misc files (29.5GB - WTF?). I'm on Android 4.3, N900VVRUBMJE currently. I wish to keep the multiwindow and spen, but will dump the bloatware I don't need. My two questions are this: Which...

From An Old Flip Phone to Note 3---Too Big a Jump?

Definitely get the Note 3, and definitely wait until after the Note 4 comes out and the price of the 3 drops. The ability to swap batteries is also a huge plus. You had your current for for 10 years... You'll be fine with this one, so long as nothing out of your control happens to it...

    What's your top Android apps?

I used SplashID for years (and years) on my Palm devices too. Moved over to Keypass/Lastpass when I finally made it to Android.

Best app or way to schedule & send 40 sms messages every week to our team sports club members?

Re: Best app or way to schedule & send 40 sms messages every week to our team sports club members? Historically we've used Rainedout.com No mobile app, but the mobile site works well enough once things are set up on a desktop. They're ad-supported, but no charges. I liked it well enough...

ADM and AL are tops. I prefer AL (does a lot more). Also check out Cerberus. Very good as well.

World Cup on the Note 3.....

For WatchESPN you need a paid provider, yes. For Univision Deportes, you do not. They are doing Group play matches for free. Knockout rounds will cost. I haven't done any real looking, but I'm sure there will be ways to see those for free too. A great match to watch. I am afraid we...

Rooting ,what can it do for me?

If it's a work issued phone, I'd strongly encourage you not to mess with it. Employers typically frown on that sort of thing. If it's your device, it's up to you, but it would be not without risk if you choose to root it. That said, if you're considering it, Google/Youtube (read: research)...
