A further inspection (by clicking on it) reveals nothing really about which app it is tied except for the fact it seems to have access to EVERY PERMISSION Android allows!!!

Every permission? Now that's something you should worry about ... Download apps op from the play store and change their permission
If you're on kitkat, you'll need root access

my phone also have this Adam thingie...i don't believe it's a virus since i only download apps from Play Store!

but if you are insecure about it, do a factory reset and see if it is still there...or maybe try an AV?

I've looked into this, but can't seem to find that much on this service. Some say it's malware while others say it's some kind of Motorola Modem Service.

Just triple-checked my Moto G, but I don't seem to have it installed. Weird :/

I will let you know when I find more.

Hi Everyone,

I found this app on both mine and my wife's Motorola X phones. Here is what I got from the folks at Motorola. They believe it is a system file. I was able to disable it, but not uninstall it.
