Alarm cannot be heard |(MOTO G5)

Hello,

I have a Moto G5.

I have set the alarm and made sure that the three volume sliders are turned up.

Unfortunately the alarm will not sound and there appear to be no buttons switched off in options. When the alarm time comes around I get a notification but no sound.

How can this be fixed?

What alarm ringtone is set for your alarm ? Maybe if you set a loud alarm sound it will work properly.

I have seen this when the alarm tone is on the SD card and not one of the embedded sounds... Moving it to the internal storage and setting the tone used again usually fixes the issue.
