I gave my mom my g2 cause her phone broke, now i need a new phone. Ive narrowed it down to the first gen moto x and the idol 3 4.7" cause i want a smaller phone. Im worried about build quality, software updates and case compatibility with the alcatel. Moto x seems like the better choice BUT i really want front facing speakers as i lay my phone down and watch streams in bed so im worried the sound will get muffled.
I know its unlikely there are people in this forum that have owned both, but maybe some of you are familiar with the idol 3 as well? If the moto x had a front or even bottom facing speaker the choice would be easy! While im here i might as well ask, how loud does the speaker on the moto x get? Ive only heard that it gets "pretty loud".
