Mexico (Movistar) using Moto X 2014

Hi all.

Anyone have advice about using a pre-paid card in the 2014 Moto X? I was in a hurry earlier & signed-up for Verizon's global plan ... big mistake considering they offer so little airtime & data.

My Moto X switched over to Movistar while I was using Verizon global service in Mexico; so, I will look into their pre-paid options.

Does one just pop in the card and change over to the Global option in Settings? Easy as that?

yup that easy, when I go to India I just pop in a local sim and good to go. sometimes I do have to enter APN info, but no biggie
