Moto X by Lenovo may have been benchmarked | Pocketnow
April 20 was a working day for someone who had a “Motorola XT1650.” And the only smoke that came up was the cooking that the Snapdragon 820 did.
Yep, some Motorola phone may have been tested on Geekbench and it’s put up some decent scores for the chipset running the test (single-core score around 2,300 and multi-core around 5,300). This is the first such major benchmark reading we’ve reported on for the device that’s expected to become the 2016 Moto X.
More important is the 4GB of RAM we’re seeing — that’s in lockstep with the spring flagships, but with a rumored June launch and strengthening Lenovo influence, we might have expected another phone to get 6GB of RAM. The XT1650 would be competing with the OnePlus 3 for the first such device to serve the US.
