lollipop soak test?

I've seen on Google plus where this guy was talking to a person at Motorola she said that there is a soak test for lollipop on the Droid Maxx. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

No. The chances that there will be a soak test for the Maxx before there is one for the Turbo is slim to none.

Why wouldn't there be? The Maxx is an older device and should be important because we've been waiting far longer than Turbo.

They always update their newer phones first. They're charging hundreds for the turbo and it's their new flagship. The latest Galaxy S always gets an update first, the latest htc one, the latest Samsung note, the latest LG phone, etc.

Last year the Droid Maxx got KitKat in December / January, the older Razr Maxx HD and Razr m got it in may.

I suppose there's a chance that they do them at the same time but I doubt it. It's just the way it is.

There's an app in the play store called Motorola update services. Motorola says it'll be available when an update to Lollipop is coming. It's still not available for the Maxx.

Keep an eye on this app. When it's available for the Maxx, then probably a soak test is coming soon.
