Any way to change the interval that the screen wakes up to show you what notifications you have? I really don't need a reminder every 10 seconds. Thanks in advance.

No, but the flashing interval does decrease over time, unless you get another notification. You can change the apps that get notified this way, or you can turn moto display off, but there is no setting for the interval - it is what it is.
