phone wont boot! can anyone help?

so i was using my phone then it randomly shut off... i thought maybe the battery was dead so i plugged it in for a little bit. when i turned it on it would get to the main boot screen then the boot symbol started freezing and the screen gradually gets darker and darker until it just shuts off... it seems like my phone is off now but my led is still blinking green.... i have done multiple battery pulls and it does the same thing every time... anyone with any suggestions? please help

My gf Droid x just shut off and won't come on all all plug it in to the wall and just get a green led can not figure it out can't even get the computer to recognize it hope some one can figure this out
