Need help with video camera on Droid

I took a video a few weeks ago with the phone in the upright position. When I transfered the video to my computer, it was sideways and I couldn't turn it upright. How should I hold the phone when taking a video? Thanks!!!

You should have the usb port facing down when taking videos

It will only take videos and pictures in landscape mode regardless if it looks alright on screen. It really through me off when I took some pics (portrait mode) and sent them to my wife .. they were sideways.

I had this same problem... never did find a way to turn it unfortunately (not without buying an expensive video editing program)!

Picture you should be able to rotate on most computer picture programs but the vids will cost ya.
