2.1 lockscreen on 2.2?

I have a DX that is nicely rooted, Froyo'd, and ROM'd, but the Froyo lockscreen is a POS. Is there anyway to change it back to the 2.1 lockscreen? Via themes or anything... Thanks.

The problem is that in froyo the sliders lag. Of course it looks better than the stock X2.2 sliders, but they still don't act like they did in 2.1

Im running apex and had the 2.1 sliders and they lag for me. Changed out my status bar and that took me back to the 2.2 sliders that still lag

Have you tried WidgetLocker?

It's strange but I only see lag when the screen is locked but the security pattern hasn't kicked in (I have it set for 5 minutes after screen dark).

I've tried widget locker but since I use the security pattern, I'm forced to swipe twice, which I personally find unacceptable. If that were fixed, consider me a widget locker fan!

Get Widget Locker. Has an option for the 2.1 slider, as well as Sense UI, iPhone, and a few others. Doesn't lag and has an option to add widgets to the lock screen. I.E. I have my battery widget on my lock screen.
