4G upgrade: Device Notes: Wifi only?!

I sent my 3g xoom in for upgrade. I am tracking the process and in the device comments it says "WIFI Only 4G LTE Upgrade"

Although I have yet to turn on the 3G, I know I bought a 3G Xoom. Has anyone else seen this in their status?

I would not worry about it. Likely just a note because for those of us with active 3G they will be activating the 4G as part of the upgrade.

Hope your right. I went and dug my Xoom box out of my closet to ensure they actually sold me a 3G.

Don't worry. I'm sure its just a note that its not a active 3g Xoom. Verizon will probably use this info to now contact you to see if you want 4g service.

I would assume that it just means that they didn't give you a sim. You will get the Sim when you activate the 4g.

It seems as if they did give me one since I have a "sim number" filled in.

I don't know. You guys are probably right, not gonna worry, just gonna sit here impatiently.

You may be right. I have a SIM number as well. Maybe they give it to us up front. That would be awesome, as those SIMs are not cheap.

It is showing as wifi only because you have never activated on Verizon's network. I have the same thing in my notes and mine is a 3g as well. I called and asked...
