Tethering breaks 3G

Hi All,

I'm able to use my Motorola Xoom as a Hotspot and tether to my Pc, the problem that I have is that after some time using it, I stop surfing the web in my lap and if I see my Xoom the 3G is disconnected. I have to turn off for a while the data connection in my Xoom and then turn it back in to reconnect to 3G.

Anyone having this issue??
Should I ask for Verizon/Motorola Support?

Do you honestly think they'd be able to help you more than the forums can?!

In any case, let me see if I can reproduce it and give you any insight. Won't be 'till later, though.

Absolutely not, that's why I came here first... LOL!!!! My question was directed more to see if this was more of a defect an claim warranty!!..

Absolutely I can wait a while, I'm currently not in US so I can't go to 3G so it's not a big deal right now!! Thanks for the help.

BTW, I have only tested it with WiFi tether, not USB, next Sunday I can test also with USB and see what happens.

I use this feature all the time, and have not experienced this problem.
