Hello all! Another optimus v owner

Hi, I'm Jon, 24, and I'm a LG Optimus V owner. Starting to learn more about androids and I just recently used the Ginger break on my phone, (so it's rooted) and I'm now just trying to get the right ROM, and all that, without a computer. I read up on a bunch of threads concerning this phone model (2.2.1) and about the update that makes phone un-rootable. I just need to flash, back up data, and find ROM that works. A bunch of these files wont download for some reason. If you can help me please PM me or simply reply to my thread. Thanks and look forward to learning more.
