I just noticed this today when I put my brother on speaker phone. There is no sound coming from the top speaker. Only Bottom one used for speaker phone. Can you guys confirm? Both speakers work just fine playing music or movies.

I don't have mine yet, but it makes sense. There's no reason you'd need stereo on a phone call and using both speakers would (however small) drain the battery faster.

Having stereo for phone calls would drain no more battery than having stereo for steaming music, movies or playing games. Just as it sounds nicer to hear music in stereo, it wound enhance the phone call experience as well.

Doesn't make sense why would they do that. Anyway, thanks for the confirmation. Was thinking I might have a defective unit.

Music, movies, and games (normally) are set up for stereo sound. They're the things you'd want playing over both speakers.

Phone calls aren't stereo. There's no need for stereo speakers playing a phone call.
