lg optimus clockwork recovery(idk how to get out)

ok so i purchased the lg optimus v from virgin on ebay and i received it..when i turn it on it pops up on clockwork recovery, idk what the heck that is or how to get out or what i need, or where to fin what need for it, can someone help me, i have no idea what to do

you'll probably need to use the clockwork recovery to install a rom then.
whyzor's sticky at the top of this subforum should have all the info you need.

clockwork recovery is a part of ROM manager, this probably means that you bought it from someone who rooted the phone, put a new operating software on it, then when they decided to sell it they just whipped the phone clean of all data.

at this point you need to find out which rom you want to run, and install that, then your phone should work.

look for the sticky that teaches you about roming the phone, find a rom you would like and follow the steps to install it.
