Multi snaps not working on J5 Prime

[Android Central Question]

Hey guys. I have a J5 Prime that won't do multi snaps in snapchat. I can only do one clip of 10 secs and then it stops so no second clip will record.

I looked it up in Google and found suggestions that I could do a reinstall, a snapchat story to unlock the function and clearing the cache. None of these worked for me. I borrowed a P10 Lite using my account and multi snaps works just fine on that phone.

Any suggestions on what to try?
