Charger Burned End?

I noticed that the charger for my tablet was burned. What caused it and where can I get a replacement charger?

It more looks worn out than burnt, however, the do get hot when they have a heavy current on them. It's only small wires so they get hot when charging lots. It is just a standard micro USB cable, should be able to pick one up nearly anywhere these days.

I have not had this issue.y chargers gets hot and my phone at times. Make sure you are using a 2.1A chargers.

You can order a new cable. Amazon has them for less than five bucks.

Just head down to any store that sell USB cables and get heavy duty cable with micro USB on one and standard USB on other....

The data cable works for charging as well right? I am also seeing a lot of reviews saying some cables are slow for charging, is there a recommended one on Amazon?

Its all USB and all the same standard.... With a tablet and using 2.1 amp wall wart for charging it would be best to find heavy duty cable, but not a absolute necessity... I got a heavy duty cable at local ACE hardware store packaged under GE brand name for $9.98 I think.... But I was after the extra length (about 2 feet longer than standard Samsung cord) ...

Dont know the brand so can not comment..... Out of a possible hundred brands 95% are probably good...
