calculator operational signs

Hello everyone!
I just want to ask about the calclulator app if it is really for real i am seeing the the right thing that the operational symbol for multiplication and addition flashes on the screen identically. The result well seem to be accurate though but its kinda annoying looking back on my formula and try to review it all over again.. is there any fix for it or an update or somethihg?

I figured out the new font i used a month ago caused this, so i tried to restore the font and it goes back to normal.. hahah
