UI 3.0 & QR Codes

Before the latest UI update, I could aim my camera at a QR code and it would take me to the website. Now it makes a Note Page, with half the link in the title and the other half on the page context so you can't even copy and paste it. Is there a setting to get back to QR codes opening websites or is this just an awful update of this feature.

I don't see the problem. It give you a small pop-up with the information about the link in it and all you have to do is touch the pop-up window and that opens the website. I think it is for your protection. You can imbed any kind of website in a QR Code. It just tells you what the link is before going there.

Be careful if you try use 3rd party bar code scanners.

Go to Settings, Apps, S-Note and clear its "Set As Default" settings then try again.

This phone doesn't need any additional software it can scan barcodes on it's own. It is right in the actions panel. Two-finger swipe down from the top should reveal a built-in app to do it.

It's not set as a default. I'm using the stock camera qr scanner for everyone saying I don't need a third party.
