Has anyone come up with a modification for doing this on the Note 20u yet? Should really be our choice whether we want to run this feature or not. To be honest though, I can't really tell the difference in clarity from QHD to FHD. But I can definitely tell the difference with the 120hz vs 60hz.
Okay. So I finally decided to give this a try. What I've found is that it does work, but it seems that if you restart your device it'll reset back to the factory resolution and the rules that Samsung has put into the software. Meaning everytime you restart your device you'll have to do this mod again.
Rough estimate my battery consumption is up between 10-15% with this mod. I'm generally near a charger so not a big issue, but I could see turning it off during a day trip to the beach for instance.

I haven't really noticed any difference, but as you say; I'm always near a charger too if there was an issue.

That was my initial thought that battery would possibly take a hit.
Just for added information. My resolution and refresh rate settings did stay the same through an auto restart. So I've been on this mod for almost a week now.
