I have a Windows 8 laptop that i've been using to make sticky notes/highlight material in a couple of PDF documents, using the Reader app that comes pre-installed. I was hoping to be able to use my Note 10.1 (2014 version) to make handwritten notes/highlights through the Adobe software or Polaris office pre-installed on the tablet. My issue is that when I open the file up on the tablet, the notes and highlights I have already made disappear, which totally defeats the purpose.
The strange thing is, if I make a hand-written annotation on the tablet using the same file, save it, then open the file back up on my laptop, all of the notes/highlights appear, including my hand-written annotation. I'm totally stumped and a general Google search didn't turn up much. Any ideas? Or better yet, suggestions on better programs to use on both Windows 8/Android so that any highlights/changes I make on one platform will show up on the other?
