Google Wallet deal

I do not know if it has been mentioned and it may be over so check.
Google in an effort to promote Google Wallet has been running a deal where if you transfer money (any amt) to a new user you get $5.
So my wife and I sent each other a penny and got $10. Not a bad trade lol

They were limiting it to handing out $100k so I'm not sure it is still happening but we just did it so check it out.

Yup, it was covered last week: Google will give you $5 for inviting a friend to use Wallet | Android Central

Pretty cool that Google is doing this. Aside from doing this to receive the credit, do you find your self using Wallet?

I saw this deal awhile ago, but I figured it would be used up in a few seconds! Did you do it just today? I just transferred a penny both ways between 2 accounts, but I didn't see anything about $5.

We did it 2 days ago I think.
As far as Wallet, i have never used it or know much about it.
I am going to look into it though to see if it's of use.
I did read that certain places give extra discounts if you do use it to make a purchase.

Google is apparently putting up some dough to get people to use this
