Galaxy Note 4 - Screen Timeout Issues

I just recently got the new Note 4 and I am having an issue with my screen shutting down automatically. I have set the screen time out to 15 seconds, however I keep having to manually shut my phone off. It does this whether it is plugged in or not, and I have had to take the battery out several times to "temporarily" fix it. It works for a bit, but then it goes right back to the same thing. Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.

it really sounds like you have a bad phone if i were you get it swapped asap! i think somethings heating up on your phone causing it to shut down.

That's the problem though, it doesn't shut down. The screen will stay on until I shut it off manually by hitting the power button.

I went through this problem personally, happened whether I was charging or not... basically a Factory Reset fixed my problem and it's been perfect ever since. Tried almost everything else w/ no luck so give that a go if you can.

Never mind I figured it out, but it only lasted about 4 hours, now it's back to doing the same thing.
