My Samsung Note 5 is automatically going to a split screen, how can I stop this?

My Samsung Note 5 is automatically going to split screen

I'm not pressing anything and have rebooted a couple times but to no avail. Not only that but it when I try to get to my home screen or if I press any icons, it brings up my "cards". Signed Confused & Frustrated ~

To close multi/split window on my Note 5, I found that dragging the center resize feature, between the windows, all the way up to the edge of the screen maximizes the window, ending multiview.

Could someone post a screen shot ... multi/split windows ..
never had ...never seen on my N5 .
I want to see what it looks like ..?
