Verizon note 5 to tmobile

So I switched from Verizon to tmobile and tmobile said my phone was compatible and it will work normal but know my phone can't send or receive mms and also when I try to look up my imei by dialing *#06# it gives my that mmi invalid what should I do

Did you unlock it? Verizon has to give you an unlock code I believe. That's what I did but I am on AT&T sonit may be a little different

Newer verizon phones should be unlocked to other GSM carriers, such as t-mobile. You should only have to put your tmobile sim in. What you still need to do is setup the APN settings (usually fast.tmobile.com), so that it knows how to communicate with your carrier.

This information is correct. I used a LG G2, Note 4, Moto, and iPhone 5c from Verizon on T-Mobile with no problem

If it is a carrier lease or payment program phone it can have a locked IMEI number from the carrier not the phone. You need to make sure it is not under any contract or lease obligations
